The island that contains England, Scotland and Wales. Together with many small islands, Great Britain is part of an irregular archipelago with a very diverse landscape and nature.
The latter is a consequence of the fact that the British Isles were once part of Europe, but were cut off from the mainland after the flooding of the lowlands that are now the bottom of the North Sea and the English Channel.
Northern Ireland, which politically complements the United Kingdom, is located on the second largest island, Ireland, and is the western extension of the Scottish Mountains. These mountainous areas are separated by a narrow Northern Channel.
Historically, the geography of Great Britain has influenced the history of this country. They also determined the location of industrial centers, transport systems and the structure of agriculture. Today, geography continues to define the lives of the British, who are known for their concern for the environment and wildlife.
Middle-aged and older tourists love to visit the UK. And not only because the "foggy Albion" is packed to capacity with all sorts of attractions, museums and other things. Here one can clearly feel the attractive aura of a decent, measured life, in which, first of all, it is customary to respect the rights of the human person in both large and small.

Climate
Moderate oceanic, soft and humid (more humid in Northern Ireland, colder and drier in Scotland). The weather is mainly formed by the warm ocean current of the Gulf Stream. The coldest month is January (+3 - +7 C), the warmest is July (+11 - +17 C). The northeast of the island is the coldest region, the London area, the southeast and Westland are the warmest regions of the country. The least suitable months to visit the country are from November to February. March and October are already warm enough, but still very chilly. The Korsar travel agency in Kherson recommends April-September as the best time to visit, both due to the relatively good weather and the opening of the tourist season and most of the attractions. July and August are the most "congested" months for the country, when more than one and a half million tourists from the mainland come to the UK. Therefore, if possible, it is better for tourists not to plan a visit for this period.

The shops
In London, tourists have chosen Oxford Street and the Kensington area.
Porcelain, glass, books, pipes "a la Sherlock Holmes", bags, reticules, bracelets, watches, English tea with the addition of Kenyan bergamot or tender jasmine are often brought from London as a gift to friends and family.
